That Oft Strange and Delightful Species Called The Human Woman
I was watching a video recap of Alyson Halligan talking to Ellen DeGeneres about how she suffered from "Pregnancy Brain" aka short-term memory loss associated with pregnancy. Here's how she described it: "I sort of feel like a Koala bear where I'm slightly stoned all the time and say the wrong word."
I find this surprising since women have all these extra neurochemicals that men don't, so you would think that those extras would sort of cover for whatever deficit was occurring intracranially during gestation. I mean come on, we are talking about the female half of the human species which bleeds for one week out of every month and still lives!
Honestly, now that I really think about this I guess its a good thing Obama did beat Clinton in the primaries. Sheesh, can you imagine what she would be doing if pregnant? or going thru menstration? ...gives a whole new meaning to the war on terror.
