Amazon Kindle Fiasco Underscores the Larger Problem

Share

Wonder if I can return the books I bought on Amazon?Everybody else weighed in on the Amazon Kindle dustup but all of them failed to note the irony that the books which were deleted, '1984' and 'Animal Farm' both by George Orwell, speak of the very dystopian things we see happening here now in the United States.  It should come as no surprise then that the world's largest retailor of books, run by Amazon CEO Jeffrey P. Bezos, just happens to be all cozy with the Big Bro in the White House.

I'm certain that this would have nothing whatsoever to do with Amazon pulling the two books that describe in great detail exactly what we can expect from Obama and his squirrelly commy loving henchmen.

'1984' has become famous for its portrayal of pervasive government surveillance and control, and government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual.  It's also were we get many of its terms and concepts, such as "Big Brother", "doublethink", and "Newspeak" that have entered the popular vernacular of those that would fight big oppressive government. The word "Orwellian" itself has come to refer to anything reminiscent of the book's fictional regime.

'Animal Farm' reflects events leading up to and during the Stalin era before World War II.  Orwell was highly critical of Stalin and his ideas and tactics.  The novel addresses not only the corruption of the revolution by its leaders but also how wickedness, indifference, ignorance, greed and myopia destroy any possibility of a Utopia.  While this novel portrays corrupt leadership as the flaw in revolution (and not the act of revolution itself), it also shows how potential ignorance and indifference to problems within a revolution could allow horrors to happen if smooth transition to a people's government isn't satisfied.  The events and characters in Animal Farm satirise Communism ( "Animalism" ), authoritarian government and human gullibility generally; of the characters in the book, Snowball is seen as Leon Trotsky and the head pig, Napoleon, is Stalin.

Sound familiar?  It should, we are living in the midst of a socialist/communist revolution here in America, one that has afflicted our precious brothers and sisters in South America.  No wonder Obama's buddy Bezos didn't want the sheeple reading these books, because in doing so they would see the path of bloodshed, socialism and depotism Obama has in store for us.  This is none other than U.S. Government influenced censorship of books meant to enlighten people to the horrors of socialism and communism.

It's always a source of amusement to me as that all these billionaires support socialist/communist movements, they really must not realize how dangerous such a system is to them.  I believe Orwell really hit it on the head when he spoke of human gullibility, I can think of 60 million people right off the top of my head... they all voted for Big Brother in the White House.

As always, keep the change...

Fed says Stabilization In-progress then says Joblessness UP in 90 percent of cities

Share

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire....In an unbelieveable display of spin, Obama's government said earlier today that a recent survey indicates the economy is stabilizing in 'some regions'.  Then an hour later they news feed that joblessness UP in 90 percent of Metro areas.

So which is it?  Either we are climbing out of the mess you and congress created or we are not.  Sounds to me like you got to many chef's salting the greens over in the Ministry of Truth.

Google might host American's Medical Records under Obama's Healthcare Reform

Share

I use a different search engine called cuil.comIf events shaping up in the UK are any indication of what Americans can expect under Obamas much maligned healthcare reform, then the healthcare package in congress is surely dead.  It seems Google is trying to get the British Parliament to allow them to host all of the private medical information for each and every person in the United Kingdom.  Ex-Minister of Parliament David Davis who wrote the above linked article says, "My party would be mad to give control of sensitive records to an internet giant notorious for ignoring privacy concerns".

The Google enabled CIA will have access to all your medical records. In the words of human rights watchdog Privacy International, Google has “a history of ignoring privacy concerns. Every corporate announcement has some new practice involving surveillance”. It gave Google the lowest possible assessment rating: “hostile to privacy”. It was the only company of the 20 assessed to get this rating. It also said Google was leading a “race to the bottom” among internet firms, many of which did little to protect their users.

I think what people tend to forget or worse yet don't know about Google is that their initial start-up monies came from the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and since then have been in bed with the NSA (National Security Agency) on many projects which violate individual Americans rights and privacy.  I'm listing here just a few of the relevant articles:

Ok, so now we've established who GOOGLE the company is in bed with, and by extension why this medical record deal would ever fly in the first place, but lets see if we can find out how they got there.  In the UK, if there is a Conservative government led by David Cameron, health records could be transferred to Google because it just so happens that Steve Hilton is one of David Cameron’s closest advisers.

Hilton is married to Rachel Whetstone, Google's vice-president of global communications and public affairs.

Cameron, who claims to be a Zionist, flew to San Francisco to address the Google Zeitgeist conference in 2007 at the company’s expense.

Five months ago, it was revealed that Eric Schmidt, Google’s chief executive, was joining a UK Conservative business forum to advise on economic policy.

So could this happen in the United States?  We have only to look at Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, to answer that question.  It's no secret that the Google CEO Backed Obama's campaign for President or that he had hoped to be the CTO of the USA but the price wasn't right, instead he serves as an economic policy advisor to our Dear Leader just like he does in the UK.  So would it surprise Americans if Big Bro in the White House gave his friend and policy mentor a little gift?  oh like say, storing all American's health records on Google servers were his CIA and NSA buddies could peruse them at will?  Not so far fetched if things in the UK portend the future of the US.

Stay tuned, will report back with more of the culprits in this fiasco as soon as I can dig it up.

Obamacare Kumbuyah-think Simplified for the Sheeple Dogs

Share

don't taz my health bro!!The White House's Ministry of Change went on the attack the last couple of days, stopping shortly at the Ministry of Racial Affairs to tend to family matters up Cambridge way.  But then it was on the road again trying to spin a stickier web of deceit in its sell of healthcare reform.

As it turns out I and a couple of friends were discussing the reform package and our conclusion is that the american people get it, that its baaaaad for the country, baaaaad for doctors and baaaad for you and i.  But there seems to be some confusion up on capitol hill, they apparently don't get it, what with this bill consisting of 1000's of pages and so little time to read it before they enact it upon the grass grazers.

What are informed Unpersons to do?  That's when we hit upon the brilliant idea of interpretation.  We needed to translate or find someone able to translate the Kumbuyah speak into normal drunken sailor talk for our fine Senators and Representatives in DC.

As luck would have it we found a couple of straight talkers on youtube, who want to persuade those who are Not So Sure about Health Care Reform.

Big White House Bro's friends with the Ministry of Homies and Acorns are enraged to see Americans standing up to the socialist mantra, check out this video of acorn chompers going nuts when confronted with the truth about healthcare over on Malkins site.

Alabama Bans Wine Labeled with picture of Nymphet

Share

I will drink no wine before its time or that lacks a racy labelWas surfing the tubes today and found this ironic piece.  Seems Alabama is getting somewhat protectionist of their much praised wine industry.  Wouldn't want those red-necks in Alabama drinking anything but the finest shine now would we.

Cycles Gladiator Syrah WineA wine label showing a nude nymph is too racy for Alabama's liquor control agency, which has told restaurants and stores not to sell the product.

The label on Cycles Gladiator wine, produced by Hahn Family Wines in Soledad, California, shows a vintage 1895 bicycle advertising poster with a nude nymph flying beside a winged bicycle.

The Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board recently sent a letter to stores and restaurants telling them not to sell the wine because the label had been rejected by the agency. Alabama liquor regulations prohibit labels that are offensive or immodest. Hahn Family Wines president Bill Leigon says the wine has been sold nationwide without any complaints until now.

Once again, government gone to far.

Please let me know if that label makes you masturbate against your will or inspires you toward a corrupt or indecent lifestyle!

Mood by Orwell

Re-reading 1984 before they outlaw, looking for instances of comparison with the Dear LeaderI've been feeling rather dystopic of late.  What with Comrade Big Brother in the White House and the non-stop nonsense we as Americans have to fend off from him and our seerless leaders in congress.

As if we the people didn't have enough to deal with on a day to day basis, what with slaving to put food on the table, having taxes ripped from our income, helping the poor bankers balance their books and find new and inventive ways to practice usury all while watching my friends and family sink into financial despair and/or becoming homeless.

So pardon me if the next few entries portend 1984 upon our blue shores.  That's all for now, I have to go practice kumbuyah-think.

Open Letter to Obama: Who is it About?

Share

Looking for a selfless leader....When a leader takes over the reins of a country, its citizens hope that he/she will do a great job.  Using his expertise and leadership to usher in a time of peace, prosperity and well-being (not to mention continued Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness) for those under his wings.  Are you that leader for America, Mr. Obama?

I recently read that you had a meeting with some of the democrats in congress, purportedly about healthcare reform legislation, whereof the following was disclosed, “A Democrat congressman last week told me after a conversation with the president that the president had trouble in the House of Representatives, and it wasn’t going to pass if there weren’t some changes made … and the president says, ‘You’re going to destroy my presidency.’”

Did you really say that Mr. Obama?  If so, this country has much much more to be concerned about than the trillions you've already spent on a bailout and the trillions you want to spend on socialist healthcare.  You see Mr. Obama, if your more concerned for your office or title or (insert obligatory office title here) then that leaves me wondering when it will be about the citizens of the United States of America.

Great leaders rally people to a better future.

"The two key words in this definition are “better future.” What defines a leader is his preoccupation with the future. In his head he carries a vivid image of what the future could be, and this image drives him on. This image, rather than, say, goals of outperforming competitors, or being individually productive, or helping others achieve success, is what motivates the leader.

Don’t misunderstand. An effective leader might also be competitive, achievement oriented, and a good coach. But these are not the characteristics that make him a leader. He is a leader if, and only if, he is able to rally others to the better future he sees." (Marcus Buckingham, The One Thing You Need To Know, pp 59-60.)

Do your words Mr. Obama invoke the definition of a great leader?  Whose better future were you talking of when you uttered, ‘You’re going to destroy my presidency.’  Because if you did say these words, the man in the mirror just destroyed your presidency.

Whoa, did anyone Watch Deadliest Catch Last Night

Share

I want to try crabbing, even if only for a week...The last 10 minutes were simply awe inspiring.  The storm came up so fast and heavy it drove the the deckhands to safety behind doors.  The last time I saw rain fall that thick and hard was a storm my family and I were in down central illinois way.  A tornado whipped the rain up and you could not see even a foot in front of you.  I went outside in it and was instantly, and i do  mean instantly, soaked.

Anyway, the last 5 minutes of Deadliest Catch they had multiple maydays as the ships suffered break-downs and other problems due to this fast-moving, hard-hitting storm.  It seemed to me the storm might have even been hurricane-like with the way they were describing it.

If you watch this show, you'll know why I love it and definitely won't be missing the next episode.

I was asked to Provide Proof the DOD ordered Major Cook's Termination, Here You Go

Share

I love it when they question me on references...From my previous post, it seems people find it hard to believe that the Department of Defense following orders from Dear Leader Obama pressured a civilian company to fire Army Reserve Major Stefan Frederick Cook because he dared to question Obama's eligibility for Office of the President.

Orly Taitz is Cook's attorney of record.  She is the one that filed his petition for proof of Obama's citizenship.  Taitz posted Major Cook's Resume on her blog with the note that he was fired by his civilian employers at the urging of Obama's White House.  If you would like to help Major cook with donations or to give him a job just click the link above, it provides all the proof necessary regarding his court case against Obama and his termination.

Her blog also indicates this unlawful termination will be taken to court.  Good luck and God Bless You Major Cook.

Update:  Interested readers Can find more definitive proof here.  and...

WND has reported that among the documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, his Punahou school records, his Occidental College records, his Columbia University records, his Columbia thesis, his Harvard Law School records, his Harvard Law Review articles, his scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, his passport, his medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.

Open.  Transparent.  Change.  I get it, I think?!

Michael Jackson or Nikola Tesla

Share

Its time for another Nikola Tesla to appearWhile most of the Sheeple were busy following the drama that was Michael Jackson and paying homage to his demise and life, I was busy remembering someone else.

That person would be Nikola Tesla, whose birthday would have been July 9th.  Yes, I would rather remember a man who had the qualities I can only hope to aspire too.  If it were not for Tesla, you would not be Twittering, Googling, BlackBerrying, cell phoning, using satellites in space, flying airplanes, getting x-rays, or studying physics as we know it.

So, forget the perverted madman of music and remember a man who contributed a thousand times more to our great society.

Thank You, Nikola Tesla.  May God have great mercy on your soul.

Just in case You Still Think Obama is not Remaking the USA into a Socialist State

Share
Free people own guns, slaves don'tThe Redcoats is coming... got musket?Let the rabble rousing begin.  We must not let weariness overcome us in this stand against tyranny at our door.  For those of you still in doubt as to the Dear Leaders plans feast your eyes on this.  Obama hopes to bring socialist change, and we must reject it at all costs.

Make no mistake, the victory in this war for the continuation of our God given rights and freedoms will not come by words alone, it must also be precipitated with action.

Sadly, I believe it will also involve bloodshed.  Narcissistic Leaders like Obama seldom relinquish power once they have it.  One only need look at the actions of Hugo Chavez, Manuel Zelaya (who recently tried to co-opt the honduran government into a socialist government.) and most of the other South American Tin Pot Despots to see how hard it is to get rid of them and the extraordinary measures they will go to too keep the power.

DOD has Private Company Fire Army Reserve Major who asked to see Obama's Real Birth Certificate

Share

There is no respect from this administration for our service men and women. The Department of Defense following orders from Dear Leader Obama pressured a civilian company to fire Army Reserve Major Stefan Frederick Cook because he dared to question Obama's eligibility for Office of the President.

Who out there wants to hire this good man?  He undertook to find the truth and because of this, Dear Leader Obama had the Department of Defense put pressure on his civilian employer until they fired him.  This is a most egregious act upon the citizenry of these good states when we sit at home tut tutting this offense instead of taking to the streets until we have stopped this sort of criminal behavior spewing forth from the White House.

Obama and the DOD beating down military and civilian dissentWhere are the congresspersons that represent this brave veteran?  Is this act by the White House and the Department of Defense Constitutionally Illegal regards this mans right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?

Who will give this man gainful employ and thumb their noses at the bogey boys from DC and the pentagon?

Sickening....

Lets put a little pressure on the traitors from the company who fired him:

Simtech Inc, CEO Larry Grice might be interested in hearing from americans as to how we feel about the treatment of one of our citizens who has served this country defending us?

Tax on Chicken Farts, Cows from India and Al Gore's Hot Air

Share

Having a gas writing crazy policy ideas for congressWas thinking about all the talk of things congress wants to tax, like the breath we exhale, or even our farts.  Patently absurd to be sure, but lets kick this line of thinking up a notch.  Why not tax chicken and cow farts, aren't they contributing to the faux problem of global warming?  There are 12 billion chickens in china and 200 million cows in india, so it seems to me they are producing a lot of excess gas which is just further making our planet warmer and the air unbreathable.

tax the farts! So I propose we add a fart tax to imports from those countries to offset the problems all their livestock are causing our planet.  I also think we states should pass taxes on the US congress, yep, you read that right.  We create taxes that the congress persons themselves have to pay.  I think a billion dollar per law passed tax is a good start.  We should also have a billion dollar per congressional pay raise tax so that every time they vote no to give themselves a pay raise they have to pay each state a billion dollars.... adds up after a few years.

I also think we should have an age tax for congress, lets tax em a billion for every year each one is over the age of 65 and still a congressman.

We should also tax congress for letting ex-politicians promote anything.  I think a billion for each advocacy they stand for is a good start.  This is sure to stop the nut jobs like Al Gore.  Hey Al, move on up here to Northern Illinois and you too can get away from global warming.  Has anyone studied if the area around Al Gore is warmer than his vicinity?  There's a worthwhile study...

Can you think of any other absurd taxes that we should enact?  Let me know in the comments below.

We must defeat Mark Kirk's run for Illinois Senate Seat

Share

I really hate traitors like Mark KirkI've been a Republican pretty much all my life.  Bush and Cos. fiasco over the last 4 years made sure I won't embrace the party, neither party ever again.

Mark Kirk, You've only confirmed my belief that there is no difference between you and the democrat assholes currently wreaking havoc upon the sheeple.  This is why I'm now a member of the Patriotic American Party, you know the one... that puts God, Country, and the Constitutional Republic ahead of corporate and political interests.

I see no difference in the two political US partiesYou've misplaced your loyalty, Mr Kirk, you've sold out America.  Patriotism does not have a four-year shelf-life, but fortunately you as a politician do.  I promised you I would do everything I could to make sure you never set foot in office again and I meant it.  I will endeavor from now til election time to find and expose every skeleton in your closet.  I will pay for ads in as much media as I can afford to make sure you don't get re-elected.  I want to make an example of you in front of all the other assholes in congress... that being that we the people just aint gonna put up with your shit any more.

You voted for Cap and Trade, you cost American's jobs and billions in taxpayer monies will be wasted because of your arrogant, foolish vote.  Say good-bye to your political career.

Gamer SWATted with Disproportionate Police Response

Share

This is not the America I grew up in...In another brazen attack on civil liberties, police and a SWAT team, in a obviously backward borough of New Jersey wasted hours of on-the-clock time and probably a million dollars to subdue a noisy video game player

Amerika, home of the brave gamer SWATtersThe gamer's neighbors called police because they heard screams and loud noises coming from the man's residence.  When police showed up they talked to the man who told them he was playing video games.

The man reportedly then became "irrational", prompting the officers to request backup. In response, the man locked his door and refused to let officers into the house. Police proceeded to call in the Somerset Country SWAT team, who set up shop in the parking lot of a nearby high school, although the man finally relented and came out on his own without further incident.

It was probably irrational of the man to refuse the police entry without a warrant and to invoke his write to say nothing.  But those are his rights, police nowadays don't like people who assert their rights, instead making the situation worse by, well... calling in a SWAT team to subdue a gamer who invokes his constitutional rights.  Pathetic.

So how is the free American gamer doing?  The gamer has been charged with disorderly conduct and is currently undergoing psychological evaluation at a nearby hospital.  Let me translate, he was charged with not cooperating with the police by asserting his right to not say anything and refusing them entrance to his home without a warrant, he needed treatment at the hospital because of the beating the police gave him when they broke down his door and tackled him.

I totally screwed up an article, so I'm giving you the moon instead

Share

Conclusive proof moon is made of cheese, check out google mooni feel like mooning someone...The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum has launched a new website to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing and President Kennedy’s grand vision that made that achievement possible.

WeChooseTheMoon.org, went live at 9:32 a.m. on July 16th, 2009 – exactly 40 years to the minute after the historic launch. The site, powered by AOL, recreates Apollo 11’s lunar mission, minute by minute, with an interactive experience that lets visitors experience the mission as it happened, using archival audio, video, photos and “real time” transmissions.

People interested in experiencing the virtual recreation of Apollo 11 can pre-register to receive event email reminders and get regular “real time” updates during the four-day mission in July. Additionally, users will be able to follow the event on Twitter and through new AOL programming features coming at http://news.aol.com. “This site represents a unique opportunity for viewers to ‘go back in time’ and experience one of mankind’s most amazing achievements,” said Tom Putnam, director of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. “From actual mission audio transmissions and archival video to mission factoids and news reels, visitors to WeChooseTheMoon.org will be able to track every step of the Apollo 11 mission, as it happened, 40 years later. “We’re incredibly thankful to AOL for powering the site and promoting it across their extensive online network, and for our 15-year agency partner, The Martin Agency, for dreaming up this inspiring concept,” Putnam said. “Students, historians and anyone who finds space exploration fascinating are in for a treat at WeChooseTheMoon.org”...

I'm all for Global Warming, Because it sure is Cold here

Share

Looking for pocket change to pay the lung emission tax...Its not a secret that I'm an admirer and supporter of Ron Paul.  Rep. Paul recently spoke up about global warming and in deed his website has a category devoted to the faux science driving our current infestation of green policy.

Polar Bears admit they caused global warmingRecently, Ron had this to say:  "Contrary to claims repeated over and over, there is no consensus in the scientific community that global warming is getting worse or that it is manmade. In fact over 30,000 scientists signed a petition recently directly disputing the claims on which this policy is based. Legitimate environmental claims should instead be directed towards the public sector. The government, especially the military, is the most serious polluter in the country, and is exempt from most EPA regulations. Meanwhile Washington bureaucrats have classified the very air we exhale as a pollutant and have gone unchallenged in this incredible assertion. The logical consequence is that there will come a time when we will have to buy a government permit just to emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere from our own lungs!"

Imagine that!  A tax on the emissions from your lungs because of global warming.  And yet, where I live in northern Illinois we've had 40 °F nights with 60 °F and 70 °F days up until present.  The 4th of July is going to be 60 °F and rainy cold.... so please, send some of that global warmth my way.
