BlogaCause Shutdown: Some Observations
« Obama and Rockefeller's New World Order | Main | Truth in Blog Journalism »
As most of you know, I simulated a forced shutdown of Blogacause by the Obama Administration. It was interesting to note that my over-all traffic to the site did not lessen much, perhaps only 10 percent. What was telling and disappointing is the absolute lack of coverage by other sites.
Some funny things that happened from this shutdown event worth mentioning. Several people recommended I contact Jay Sekulow at the American Center for Law and Justice. Some people who know me personally, called in a panic thinking my site had actually been shut down. But then when I pointed out that little link at the bottom which details the nefarious plans of Obama and Rockefeller to silence dissent on the internet 'in times of emergency' with the introduction of Senate Bill S. 773., they were like oh, it didn't really happen... And you think it won't?
Some folks were sorry it happened but offered nothing beyond condolences. How can we be a force for good if we don't even notice such small matters as one anothers forums shut down arbitrarily? I know for myself and my friends, we would take up our arms and defend other sites right to free speech under any form of national emergency. I'm not questioning other sites patriotism, instead I'm questioning their understanding of what is being proffered in the Senate by the very Un-American John Rockefeller.
