Gulf Coast America's Perspective of Obama's Oil Requiem

Gulf of Mexico American's lay bare thier souls about the oil spill... Obama, the Deep Sea Driller-in-Chief, has waded into a quagmire that is sure to be his undoing. No doubt that the BP oil spill is the worst ecological disaster to hit the US shores ever.

Kicking someones ass won't solve the problem that continues to leak from the bottom of the gulf. There will be plenty of time after the problem is under control to finger point and do the media sponsored blame game. When that time comes, perhaps looking in your own house for some butt to kick Mr. Obama might be the best place to start.

In British Petroleum we have one of the largest corporations ever, with revenues of over $240 Billion US dollars in 2009. And yet, What I find hard to believe is that they would not have systems in place to deal with this type of situation.

All that money and they can't make sure that they can shut off the valve in a moments notice? All that money and they can't insure that the safety cutoffs they purchased worked correctly and when needed?

I'm certain I am not alone in wondering these questions and so many more. But my prayers and wishes go out to the 100's of thousands who potentially will lose jobs, businesses and livelihoods. What they have to say about this is heart-wrenching. Take a deep breathe and read the words of people who suffer because of British Petroleum.

This sums up my view of BP's attitude concerning what they have done to Americans.
