Tax on Chicken Farts, Cows from India and Al Gore's Hot Air
Was thinking about all the talk of things congress wants to tax, like the breath we exhale, or even our farts. Patently absurd to be sure, but lets kick this line of thinking up a notch. Why not tax chicken and cow farts, aren't they contributing to the faux problem of global warming? There are 12 billion chickens in china and 200 million cows in india, so it seems to me they are producing a lot of excess gas which is just further making our planet warmer and the air unbreathable.
So I propose we add a fart tax to imports from those countries to offset the problems all their livestock are causing our planet. I also think we states should pass taxes on the US congress, yep, you read that right. We create taxes that the congress persons themselves have to pay. I think a billion dollar per law passed tax is a good start. We should also have a billion dollar per congressional pay raise tax so that every time they vote no to give themselves a pay raise they have to pay each state a billion dollars.... adds up after a few years.
I also think we should have an age tax for congress, lets tax em a billion for every year each one is over the age of 65 and still a congressman.
We should also tax congress for letting ex-politicians promote anything. I think a billion for each advocacy they stand for is a good start. This is sure to stop the nut jobs like Al Gore. Hey Al, move on up here to Northern Illinois and you too can get away from global warming. Has anyone studied if the area around Al Gore is warmer than his vicinity? There's a worthwhile study...
Can you think of any other absurd taxes that we should enact? Let me know in the comments below.
