Former Congressman Jefferson Convicted! 533 Congresspersons To Go

You can only imagine my elation upon learning that one of the congressional thuggery got his come-uppence. While I doubt this will be a deterent to the remaining thugs in congress, its a good start. One by One we should be digging up the dirt on these scoundrels, indicting and convicting them and tossing them from office like the jetsom and flotsam they are. We should be focusing on the tax and cap 8, those traitorous republicans who sold out americans for the pennies in their pocket.
In case you don't remember who William Jefferson is, I wrote a while back about the congressman who likes his cash tendered cold. A federal jury convicted the former Louisiana congressman Wednesday of taking bribes on 11 of 16 counts in a case in which agents found $90,000 in his freezer.
He was acquitted of counts including obstruction of justice and violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
He was the first official to be charged with violating that act, which makes it illegal to bribe foreign government officials.
Wonder how many diamonds are hidden in the ice of our other elected thieves.
