Joe Legal vs Jose Illegal

Share

Glad I have a big fence around my home, keeps the illegals out. Here is an example of why hiring illegal aliens is not economically productive for the State of California... (or ANY state, for that matter)

You have 2 families..."Joe Legal" and "Jose Illegal". Both families have 2 parents, 2 children and live in California.

"Joe Legal" works in construction, has a Social Security Number, and makes $25.00 per hour with payroll taxes deducted...  Jose Illegal" also works in construction, has "NO" Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".

Joe Legal...$25.00 per hour x 40 hours $1000.00 per week, $52,000 per year. Now take 30% away for state federal tax...
Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.

Jose Illegal...$15.00 per hour x 40 hours $600.00 per week, $31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes...
Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00

Joe Legal pays Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage:
$1000.00 per month
$12,000.00 per year
Joe Legal now has $19,231.00

Stay in your own country... we don't want your crime and filth here.Jose Illegal has full Medical and Dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0.00 per year.
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00

Joe Legal makes too much money is not eligible for Food Stamps or welfare. Joe Legal PAYS for food.
$1,000.00 per month
$12,000.00 per year
Joe Legal now has $ 7,231.00

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for Food Stamps and Welfare .
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,000.00 per month, $12,000.00 per year.
Joe Legal is now in the hole - $4,769.00

Jose Illegal receives a $500 per month Federal rent subsidy.
Jose Illegal pays rent $500.00 per month
$6,000.00 per year
Jose Illegal still has $25,200.00

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get a government sponsored lunch.

Jose Illegal's children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same Police and Fire Services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY ISSUE: IT'S A COMMON SENSE ISSUE.....
Don't vote OR support any politician that supports illegal aliens.

Make it a point to know how your representative votes, State and Federal.....

It's PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

Fifty Years of Math 1957 - 2009

Share
Thinking the border with mexico looks better with a fenceFound this on the infotubes recently.  If not for the sad truth in it, my laughter would be resounding.
Do we want the same lawlessness found in Mexico here in the U.S.?Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58.   The counter girl took my $ 2 and I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register. I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters , but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried. Why do I tell you this? Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950s:

 1. Teaching Math In 1950s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of
production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit ?

 2. Teaching Math In 1960s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of
production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit?

 3. Teaching Math In 1970s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of
production is $80. Did he make a profit?

 4. Teaching Math In 1980s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of
production is $80 and his profit is $20. Your assignment:
 Underline the number 20.

 5. Teaching Math In 1990s

A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish
and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of
animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this
so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this
way of making a living? Topic for class participation after
answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel
as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong
answers, and if you feel like crying, it's ok. )

 6. Teaching Math In 2009

Un hachero vende una carretada de maderapara $100. El costo
de la producciones es $80. Cuanto dinero ha hecho?

And that's just the math.

Forget the rest.
