By now most have heard of the horrific massacre at Fort Hood, Texas.
An Muslim officer in the US Army opened fire Thursday with two handguns at the Fort Hood military base in an attack that left 12 people dead and 31 wounded. Authorities killed the gunman and apprehended two other soldiers in what appears to be the worst mass shooting at a U.S. military base.
A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan. The official said Hasan, believed to be in his late 30s, was killed after opening fire at the base. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly.
A defense official, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said Hasan was a mental health professional — an Army psychologist or psychiatrist. Officials say it was not clear what Hasan's religion was, but investigators are trying to determine if Hasan was his birth name or if he may have changed his name and converted to Islam at some point.
This is cause for concern for two reasons.
First, we did not put a moratorium on Muslims immigrating to the United States nor did we ban them from enlisting in our armed forces. This is not the first time a US armed forces enlisted person who practices islam has attacked his own forces. Muslims hate our country and its people because we are a christian nation and do not follow islam, not to mention we are at war with them, so it is only common sense to put a halt to their inclusion within our society.
Second, This President and his Advisor (sic) Rahm are of the mind set to use this for a huge power grab. Rahm has said, "you never want a serious crisis go to waste". I can't think of too many things more serious than a muslim attacking a US army base on American soil.
What I'm saying is, there is no reason for Obama to garner more power and authority in this instance, they only need to stop allowing muslims to immigrate here and to suspend from all duties active muslim soldiers within our armed forces until such time as their allegiance can be determined.
