It's the Teleprompter Stupid!
This really explains it all... the bowing that is. In a scathing report on the White House's media technology group, it's been revealed that a faulty teleprompter has been the culprit all along for many of Obama's foreign dignitary protocol faux-pas'.
It's now known that the font used during his visit with the Emperor of Japan was sufficiently illegible that the sentence, "shake hands and then chow time" were mis-read by Obama as, "shake hands and then bow time".
Earlier this week the teleprompter caused another national incident when it brought a televised Obama 'family dinner' to a stand still. It was leaked the next day that the first lady and the girls will have to get counseling because of trauma from Obama's freak out over the prompter incident.
Please Mr. Obama, get those darn teleprompters fixed... our national image depends on it!
